Discover Ayurveda

Ayurveda is a science based on healthy living, honoring a person's nature and unique characteristics.  While western medicine may treat all stress related conditions as the same, Ayurveda focuses on the different symptoms of every case. 

Everyone is born with a personal constitution.  Some people are more warm while others are more cold.  The percentage of the elements varies in every human being.  A few of the elements may predominate, revealing unique physical attributes and emotional tendencies.

Some people may experience more anxiety and fear during stressful times.  Others may indulge in feelings of sadness.  Still others undergo severe feelings of anger and criticism.  All people are treated on an individual basis through specific dietary recommendations, herbs and massage to soothe their personal manifestation of stress.

Balancing the elements is an intricate dance that requires self-awareness and an ability to communicate with your body. The gentle, nourishing techniques of Ayurveda stabilize the elements and bring deep relaxation.  Proper diet, herbal supplements, oil massages and aromatherapy all contribute to regaining inner harmony.
